Frequently Asked Questions
What is Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Royal Edition?
The Royal Edition is the most complete version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It bundles the critically acclaimed base game with all previously released downloadable content (DLCs) into one comprehensive package, offering the full experience of Henry's adventure.
Which DLCs are included in the Royal Edition?
The Royal Edition includes all five major DLCs: "Treasures of the Past," "From the Ashes," "The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon," "Band of Bastards," and "A Woman's Lot." This means you get access to all additional stories, quests, and content.
Is the Royal Edition suitable for new players who haven't played Kingdom Come: Deliverance before?
Absolutely! The Royal Edition is the perfect starting point for new players. It provides the full, immersive experience of Henry's story, along with all the additional content and side quests the DLCs offer, integrated seamlessly into the main game world from the beginning.
If I already own the base game, is it worth upgrading to the Royal Edition?
If you enjoyed the base game and want to experience all the additional stories, quests, and features offered by the DLCs, then upgrading to the Royal Edition (or purchasing the DLCs separately) is highly recommended. The Royal Edition is typically a more cost-effective way to acquire all the DLCs compared to buying them individually.
Does the Royal Edition add any new core features or mechanics to the base game, aside from the DLC content?
The Royal Edition primarily serves as a bundle for the base game and all its DLCs. While the DLCs themselves introduce new characters, quests, items, and sometimes mechanics related to their specific content (e.g., village management in 'From the Ashes'), the Royal Edition does not add entirely new core gameplay features or mechanics to the base game beyond what the individual DLCs already provide.
