Jump Ultimate Stars is a 2D crossover fighting game developed by Ganbarion and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. It's the sequel to Jump Super Stars and features a massive roster of characters from various Shonen Jump manga series, allowing players to create custom teams and battle across iconic locations.

Jump Ultimate Stars was exclusively released for the Nintendo DS handheld console in Japan. It was never officially localized or released in other regions.

The game boasts an impressive roster, featuring over 300 characters from 41 different Shonen Jump manga series. This includes 56 main playable characters, alongside numerous support and help characters represented by Koma panels.

While it doesn't have a traditional overarching story mode like some fighting games, it features an extensive 'J-Galaxy' mode. In this mode, players navigate through a galaxy composed of planets representing different manga series, completing missions to unlock new characters, Komas, and content.

Characters and Komas (the panels used to build your team) are primarily unlocked by progressing through the 'J-Galaxy' mode. Completing missions earns you 'Stars' and other rewards, which can then be used to purchase new Koma panels from the shop or evolve existing ones into stronger forms or different characters.
